Medea recreating the multiverse using
himself as a vessel of energy
An AI illustration of a figure entering into a broken multiverse

Long ago, before the Multiverse existed like the Creations know it today, there was a different system of planes in this dimension. This period of time in history is known as the Unknown Era and, as the name implies, little to nothing is known about it.

The general agreement of scientists, planar specialists, and powerful magic users, is that the Unknown Era was ended by a Multiverse-wide dimensional reset.

When referencing the Unknown Era the agreed upon term for the planet that existed where Inventa now does is to be identified as Xydas. This planet is present in only a handful of pre-known-history holy texts and the understanding was that the planet itself neared total obliteration.

The main belief of this reset is that of a godly tale. It is said that a Dimension Walker, also called a Greater Deity, known in texts as Medea entered into the dimension after it fell into chaos. The dimension in which Inventa exists now was on the verge of inter-dimensional interference, meaning it would have caused an imbalance to all neighbouring dimensions.

Medea reset this dimension by erasing everything from existence, all bar The Abyss. Like any wise divine being should be, Medea feared the Abyss and as such left it evolve as the fates would have it.

Once Medea had worked on the Planes of Existence he started developing The Universe, also known as the Material Plane, or The Materium. Little is known as to how long this took, for even the ability to scan back through time using magical means doesn't allow anyone to see Medea working.

Eventually Medea came to The Curbian Solar System and with it, Inventa. Here is where Medea saw an opportunity to experiment, taking all they had learnt from their previous builds and working Inventa to be different.
