The Immortal's Inception

The Divine Protectors, known today as the Cardinal Deities, were created as a way of ensuring that such horrors would never walk The Materium with great power. Each of The Devout Defenders were given divine abilities for their loyalty was unquestioned:

- The Everchange was given the control of the seasons and the good impact of the destruction of the present. - The Forge Matron was given the rule of weaponry, armour, and defences. - The Judge was given the balance of the afterlife and could control the fates of souls of all beings which left the planes. - The Lantern Bearer gained control of light, darkness, and part of the afterlife. - The Maker was given the ability to construct whatever their dreams desired. - The Stormbringer was given powers which controlled the weather and with it, the power of the sun, Yxen. - The Wildkin had powers over flora and fauna in life. Other Titans were also given powers and ascended to become deities, controlling different aspects which would ultimately lead The Allseer to focus all of her energy on balance. Word spread into Hell however and The Hateful Hand would hear of this divine army of The Allseer’s creation.

In his anger he made vast monstrosities and gave them godly powers, unleashing havoc and chaos upon the nine layers of hell. His first gifted divinities were:

- The Dark Huntress was told to never stop finding new targets in her twisted insect-like form. - The Chained Crow was given the ability to torture beyond any Titan’s mind. - The Forgotten Coin was made to ensure no mortal could gain wealth or happiness.

The Hateful Hand wasn’t done with his Deities however, he would go on to spend time brewing over further monstrosities that he would eventually give godhood. It is believed that the twisted visions and new creations The Hateful Hand made ranged in power from those of Lesser Deities, through to Quasi-Deities and as such a deity to rule over those below the true leaders was born, The Emperor.

News of the horrors spread to The Materium where the Cardinal Deities devised a plan, ready for the future endeavours of evil. This plan led to the start of The Creations of Creators.
