			The Absconditus Stretch is an area within the country of [[Jor]] which harbours expansive jungles believed to be mostly uninhabited. Many have tried to traverse the dense jungles here, however few seem to return due to the hidden dangers that lurk within.

			The Absconditus Stretch harbours many secrets, legends, and myths. Some are harboured within the walls of the jungle, only revealing themselves from those adventurous enough to brave the wilds, whilst others stop many from entering in the first place.

			==Known Legends of the Absconditus Stretch==
			This is a short collection of legends from the Absconditus Stretch - some are better known than others.
			===The Legend of Ironbeard===
			A party of Dwarves, led by Greyfic Ironbeard, were moving through [[Jor]] trying to map the way from [[Unthic]] to [[Kordste]]. They came across some ancient ruins in which they were cursed with a binding on their souls.

			The ruins were positioned around a large [[Emerald Obelisk - Jor]] that supposedly speaks in a serpent tongue and is able to lash out with tentacles the length of ships.

			The souls of those Dwarves wander the ruins in their corrupted evil state, supposedly being guardians of a far more sinister secret.

			The folk of [[Unthic]] heard about this when all the Dwarven residents started hallucinating of an Obelisk in Jor. Some have tried to find the location, others couldn’t take the nightmarish visions and chose an easy self-inflicted route. Those that left weren’t seen again, so there’s no telling how many now wander the ruins.

			As such, [[Unthic]] is no longer a home to Dwarves, not through choice, but fear of history repeating itself.
			===The Sobekian Savages===
			It is believed that the jungles of [[Jor]] are protected by a viscious scaled race that are masters of fighting amongst the dense foliage and surviving in the swampy waters or the jungle. Armies have tried to march into [[Jor]] to be met with a force that leaves only enough survivors to spread the word.

			This force has come to be known as the Sobekian Savages. The savages are described as large, muscular dinosaur like reptilians, with a snout large enough to bite a person's head clean off. Their teeth are as sharp as freshly sharpened daggers, their eyes able to see in the darkest of nights, and their weapons refined to swift and efficient kills.

			Not much is known to the outside world of the Sobekian Savages as nobody dares venture into the jungle with ill intent.
